You're a nickel and dime a dozen roses.

kiss close eyed so she can't see
closed mouth so she can't feel
do you beg | do you starve?

i quit living for that smile / quit living for a while

roll me over,
out of bed!
"you're a dreamer
a faker
a nuisance"

dress the part
act the show
such pretty shoes
and pretty lace

dim the lights
strike a match
watch this place burn
alive

I'm living in the future
to pass the present time
(wind your watch a minute fast)

to many words
without a thought
keep still and keep quiet

where do you get off?
(really)
what makes you (w)ri(gh)t(e)

pleasure while they pain
10,000 miles away
and they've never been
farther (while the ground shakes)
6,234 reasons to stop and count your days

will i believe?
god, goddess, or man alive

you're a nickel and dime a dozen roses
a faith - a sin
a real horror-show

... i'm a sucker for rhymes :)

and i always resented my english teachers for telling me that they're childish.
which i guess they are, but some of my favourite things were said by shel silverstein...

hey there.
where have you been??
well anyways, scott convinced me to get a blog thing, and so i finally caved. i'm hoping it will get me to start writing, but i think it's preventing me because now it'll be on the internet, which i find weird. i'm one of those old people who are scared of change... except i'm 18... (but not for long!)
well then, i bid you adieu.
talk to me, leave a comment, i'm lonely.

that comment makes me angry. rhymes are not necessarily childish.
